After about seven months of faithful weekly visits to our local hospital and cancer center, both Besa and Solo garnered the fifty visits required to add the “THD” to their name. Both pups were certified almost a year ago with Pet Partners and then went through the process to be accepted as official Peace Health volunteers. Most weeks they each paid a visit to the cancer center and then to various parts of the hospital, brightening the lives of patients, staff and visitors. After logging in fifty visits each their records were submitted to AKC and they were honored with having the Therapy Dog credentials added to their long list of achievements.
