PiCKLeS (CoRBeTT)

Born in the USA, residing in Canada and competing in both countries,”Pickles” was a powerful, high drive working bulldog with a tremendous sense of humor. She was often heard shrieking in the flyball lanes or barking on the edge of the dock. In contrast she calmly visited the halls of retirement homes, soaking up attention as she brightened everyone’s day.

Pickles’ favorite toy–and Flyball Reward–was her Jolly Ball, but the ultimate prize according to owner Marilyn Corbett was a metal bowl or water bucket which she carried for hours if allowed! This energetic girl was a contender in a wide variety of dog sports to include: Flyball, Dock-diving, Rally, Agility, Barn Hunt and Freestyle Dance. Pickles was the #1 Bulldog in Rally for 2016 in Canada.

Pickles racked up over 1,700 points in the sport of Flyball–and, considering that a successful race can net each dog 25 points, that translates into many, many trips to the box for this girl!

Pickles consistently jumps between 5-6′ off the dock. Her personal best jump of 6’8″ was achieved this year in Florida. She has her Novice title with Ultimate Air Dogs where a jump between 1″ – 10’11” earns a Novice title. In 2016, Pickles placed 10th in her Division at the Ultimate Air Dogs National Games.

Pickles also did several commercial gigs–starring as the bulldog who transforms into a pony in the Walmart commercial that aired Christmas 2016, Dispensing her “essential drool” for Carlotz and doing an heroic leap for a new toy in a Walmart 2017 Christmas commercial. The animal agent loved working with this crazy, sweet girl!
