UNDeR SPeCiALTY

Dog’s whole body must go under the entire obstacle from beginning to end. Unders must be below dog’s head height

Dog must safely perform one parkour behavior of their choice at each location. Any given area (generally considered to be the same location or in sightline) may only count for one requirement. Areas can not be reused between levels.

Dog must confidently place both front feet, and only the front feet on the obstacle and remain there for 5 seconds. It should be clear to the judges that the dog understands the ‘Two On” cue and is not simply responding to body pressure. Dogs with a front limb amputation only have to place one front foot on the object.

Category one: Dog must perform the listed parkour behavior while confidently and independently moving in the backwards direction. Category two and three behaviors: Dog must confidently and independently back at least two feet onto an obstacle tall enough to clearly be noticeable to the dog. In all cases, the behavior must occur without spatial pressure from the handler.

The space between these surfaces must be at least ¾ of dog body length.The landing surface should be no lower than elbow height difference from takeoff surface (but can be level or higher as long as spotting rules are followed).

Dog must safely demonstrate three different parkour behaviors with the same obstacle. The best way to test if a behavior is a parkour behavior is to ask the question “could this behavior occur without the obstacle?”
